public final class DiscordianCalendar extends AbstractCalendarInfo
The Discordian calendar from the Principia Discordia of Greg Hill and Kerry Thornley (1963-1970): five seasons of seventy-three days -- Chaos, Discord, Confusion, Bureaucracy, and The Aftermath -- over a five-day week, with St. Tib's Day inserted between Chaos 59 and 60 in leap years. A parody calendar, it runs in lock-step with the Gregorian year. The five seasons run Chaos through The Aftermath over a five-day week; leaping with the Gregorian calendar, a common year is 365 days and a leap year 366. Years are counted in the Year of Our Lady of Discord from 1166 BC, so AD 2026 is YOLD 3192; the epoch is 1 January 1166 BC (Julian Day 1295553). Its calendar type is CalendarTypes.DISCORDIAN, and it is paired with UTCTimeDefinition.
